Vertex is an organisation run by local volunteers. It aims to strengthen community engagement as well as promote and encourage interest in cultural activity through devising and promoting a wide selection of cultural events, including arts events, talks, exhibitions, and workshops.
Vertex began in 2017 and is supported by an array of funding sources including: West Kilbride Community Trust, North Ayrshire Council, the Cooperative Society, and the May Lockhart Foundation. Vertex is grateful for their financial support which will enable the organisation to get established and embedded in the cultural offer in North Ayrshire.Vertex is also grateful for the enthusiasm and time given to the festival by its team of volunteers.
