Vertex 2018: Rip It Up – a history of Scottish popular music

30th October 2018 @ 8:30 pm - 10:00 pm

Pete Stanton and Vic Galloway are the creative energy behind this year’s important exhibition Rip It Up held at the National Museum of Scotland, and the book and the TV series broadcast earlier this year. Rip It Up shines a light on the impact that Scotland’s music industry has had on music on a global scale. For Vertex they will offer a personal selection of some of the key bands, artists and moments of the past 60 years that they have so thoroughly outlined in Rip It Up, plus they will do so from the perspective of their own significant contributions in television and radio, as music producer, journalist and all round music insiders.
